Hey guys, I heard in an interview that 5th ed. missions will be set largely in Chicago. Since I am a new GM, and was planning on running a game set in Chicago anyway, I made this map based on the info I was able to get from various sources. I'd love any feedback you might be able to give. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=201375...e7362&msa=0
Thanks, Opti |

Wow! That is really, really cool.
If you're looking for more stuff to add, I'd love to see the MPG on there. And did you have to use a knife and fork for the Long Pig Farm? Gah. |

I am super new, so if you tell me what MPG is, i will put it in! Thanks for all the postitive feedback, all. I plan on updating this when 5th ed. arrives, and as new missions come out. Opti |

Wow, fantastic work! Lots of labour in there.
That reminded me of the one I'd done for Manhattan. Clearly, your puts mine to shame, but here it is anyway for anyone that wants it: Shadowrun Manhattan |

Very impressive. I am in awe of your patience and research skills.
A potential map point to add: Unlimitech has a hidden research facility in the Zone beneath what used to be Douglas Park, just south of I-290. Top secret and all that bruhahaha. (Described in Sacrificial Limb, if you're interested in the details). |

Good work, thank you for the effort. I've bookmarked it and will use it if I ever run something in Chi-town (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
And also thanks for Manhattan, Backgammon. |

if it's top secret, that brings up the question if whether DM's and players should have separate maps...

Well if we are posting google maps, here is one I did for Denver. I wonder if these should all be put in a map resource thread or something so everyone can find them easily.

Not sure how much of a breach of etiquette this is, but here is a thread for that very thing over at shadowrun.com....
http://www.shadowrun.com/forums/discussion...ps-vault#Item_2 I hope Mantis and Backgammon don't mind that I linked to their maps as well... Opti |

Oh no! Someone has saved me the effort of doing the work myself. How could you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) But yeah, no problem.

Opti Oh, right, sorry. Midwest Pirates' Guild. It's in 10 Gangs on page ... um ... it's in the late teens, I believe, like 17 or 18 or so. |

I've been trying to update some of the articles in the Shadowrun Wiki, mind if I toss some of these maps up there? Or anyone can do it themselves really, because....its open to anyone to add content too.

There wouldn't happen to be anyone who's made a decent map of LA, would there?
Otherwise cool maps people. |

I thought about when I was running Ghost Cartels but the L.A. of Shadowrun is so different geographically (flooding, earthquakes, etc), that I didn't see much point in using Google maps (which I used for Denver). Not too sure what other map software would be as useful and easy to use for this purpose.
