I figure 3d printing (and other custom morphology) would be the base-line for limb cyber (and clothing, and most other stuff that needs to fit the huge range of metahuman forms in Shadowrun). We ain't talking about crap bashed out by Henry Ford any more, this is 2057 and its just more cost-effective not to keep a huge stock of limbs ( clothes, etc) sitting around just in case a guy they sorta fit wants to buy one.
Doesn't mean the physical characteristics (balance, stiffness) would be ideal for each individual, so there's still a lot of room for "upgrade" levels of custom. |
