I haven't heard of it being dead; the first two waves got released and the third is completely modelled. Why do you say it's dead?

If it's not dead, it's on life support; no release date for the 3rd series of figures has been announced, no movement on the novels, etc.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything new for a while, I've only seen maybe two figs from series 2, and a lot of the stores that carried them are now clearancing them off...
