does anyone else have a tacsoft? Yeah, Crispy has a R2 tacsoft. The important thing to remember is to actually add the bonus 2 dice when you roll...there was a lot of forgetting about this last time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif) |

hehe - this gets into the whole EW and "wireless world" sections of SR, which is something I'm not terribly familiar with. The char concept was about being able to do things like this (rather than being an actual hacker who hacked systems on the matrix), so hopefully it's actually possible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I need to read the relevant rules sections now to be prepared for this situation, since it seems likely it will come up...

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'm not trying to make it sound difficult (although it is) just putting it out there that you need a plan quickly between you so I can see what is available, you're also not far from the Fed Boeing shipyards, and also there's the ferry if you ask nicely there could be air drop and parachutes (although they might turn out to be rucksacks filled with tin cans as opposed to parachutes) .. you tell me some ideas and we'll see how it pans out. @PhlapJack: gimme a "LOL" Stealth roll "/LOL" for tha blimp please, Actually .... gimme a Knowledge combat tactics or military, first (Lets see if you recall the very first IC where you find out you are on the territory of the worlds second largest aerospace corp, and also spitting distance of Seattle main airport, and your thinking about chucking up a frackin' weather balloon) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Yeah, you might have a point...but also, maybe by 2070+, having small drones all over the airspace is a normal thing? It's not like this drone is competing with scramjets in the upper atmosphere or anything..although it does have a high altitude mod, so maybe it can... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Combat tactics: skill(3) + LOG(6) + Enceph(1) = 2 hits This drone is built more for stealth than the other one, so let's see what the dice gods think... Pilot(3) + CovertOps(3) = 1 hit coulda been worse... ALSO the drone has a Chameleon Coating, so -4 for perception for anyone looking for it... |

"Quarantine"? "Disinfect"? "Tainted"? I don't like the sounds of those words. I'm sure it's just military speak ... totally sure |

I would've killed to receive a 30% on an assignment... I'm sure it's just military speak ... totally sure You just turned a seemingly-routine op into something that's gonna have me jumping at every shadow. thanks a lot! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) seriously, it's just a fashion house, on a remote island, separated from the rest of the world, that rules it's employed populace with a plas-steel fist. What can POSSIBLY go wrong?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) thanks - now my coworkers know I'm not working because of my laughter just now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) the key component that keyed me in to their evil-ness was the word "fashion". If ever a thing was created to cause despair and strife in the world, it is this... |

Never assume. Liberal use of contacts and skills
Edit to add. My 'Mo' is pinker than others. If it sounds cool I allow a tolerance for slippage of realism. Unless it crosses a boundary. Then I do like above and allow a reality check. Not to say shit can't go wrong. It can ALWAYS go wrong lol. /meta |

going to rest my tired eyes... will post at approx 12:00 GMT to move things on
if everyone has had their fill of questions ? I'd have thought there'd be some team planning but if you're all okay with Ricoh's plan I'll post up a route and an intro as you drive to the ferry port. Nova, your smuggler contact might have some "Ideas" about getting across to Vashon with a truck full of munitions, unless you want to wing it and see what happens see y'all tomorra |
