For SR5, page 134, within the Climbing Table there are the following entries for surfaces:
Slippery or wet -2 Greased or gel-treated -4 If a surface is greased, then it would also be slippery. Would these two modifiers stack, giving a total -6 modifier? |

I'd say no, I think one is a "better" version of the other. It's like stacking low-light and total darkness, just doen't work.

I don't have the book to give a RAW quote, unfortunately, but I agree with the logic here. It seems a little silly to take two penalties for what amounts to "less slippery" and "more slippery".
