Aren't spirits their force in meters height?

I would think that characters should have some knowledge skill to know things about spirits, but maybe easy stuff is common knowledge.

Not necessarily, from pg 301 the spirit’s physical form is metahuman-sized or smaller and very obviously ethereal.

It will always look a bit .... off or otherworldly so you know it's not local but for more details you would need to use assensing for that on page 313, 3 hits with assensing would tell you if its Force is higher or lower than your magic score, with 4 hits it will tell the mage the exact Force of the spirit.

So it is not as obvious as you might think unless you can see it do something and guage it's performance from that to have a clue about how powerful it is or is not.

At 3 hits on Assensing, a mundane is going to have NO FUCKING IDEA. It's not so much that he can't roll, but even a Mag 2-3 mage is going to look at it and go "Fuck if I know" more often than not.

That tells us that even looking at it's astral signature directly, the exact force of a spirit is hard to figure out.
