That's one you could cast at Force 1 or 2 and use reagents to get your full 14 dice full of hits to avoid detection.

Yeah the only spells that matter are ones where force effects the effect like the range of detection spells or improved attribute X spells which need to be the force of the attribute. Though those can still buff weak stats with the reagents trick, might need force 2 for it to work though depending on how much you dumped that weak stat. Combat sense, improved initiative and buffing a dump stat, 3 force 1-2 focuses which costs the same as a single force 4 one and have the same effect of 3 force 4 ones for the cost of being marginally easier to dispel. More power, less addiction but 1 in a 100 times it might get dispelled when that force 4 one wouldn't.

Focused Concentration costs 4 Karma per Rank and lets you sustain a spell with Force equal to its Rank.

A Sustaining Spell Focus 1 costs 2 Karma worth of Nuyen and 2 Karma to Bind.

This means that Focused Concentration is actually better than a Sustaining Focus when discussing a singular spell.
* FC1 and SF1 have the same Karma cost in Chargen
* FC1 is not limited by the Category of Spell, while a SF requires the spell to be of the correct Category.

What does this mean?
Well, it means I'll be taking Focused Concentration 1 and a Sustaining (Health) Focus 1.

Yeah definitely take focused concentration 1 it is awesome. It is not cheap to boost though, so if you ever need a level/force 6 one(like for improve attribute drain stat) or whatever it gets pricey(focused concentration) or very addictive.(sustaining focus)
