There is (was) a twitch session with Mitch, Andrew, and Mike this evening -- it was quite good. Hopefully a video of it surfaces for people to watch.

Haven't finished Dragonfall yet, I've been saving the end for a bit... to savor it before I replay. I HAVE, however, just started playing the Shadowrun UNLIMITED UGC again and, wow, that's gotten much better. I love the current rendition of the matrix and matrix runs (I almost always play deckers), reminds me of playing the old Genesis game in the sense that I just toss the game on while watching TV and do random matrix runs for cash, over and over and over and over and over and over and over. If you haven't tried that UGC or haven't played it recently, give it a spin. I really liked Unlimited (really liked the huge variety of cyberware, although everything was now an eye mod), but adding decker skills suddenly made me able to earn a lot of nuyen for where I was in the game. I was getting 6 files that were worth ~1,200 each for random matrix sites, plus 1 karma and 800 nuyen if it was a high-level mission from Frosty. Now I'm playing the old Decker game to get my decking fix. I also read there is going to be a Unlimited-based UGC with extras Dragonfall added. Also, it sounds like multiple programmers, so maybe faster content addition. |

Oh, I went and installed Steam a little while ago. I never was able to figure out how to play user generated content under DRM free, but maybe it's easier under Steam. How can I try user generated content under Steam, and is it possible to import DRM-free characters into Steam version?

About the latter I have no idea, but if you click on the game in your library, there should be a link to the Steam Workshop, and a button called 'Browse the Workshop'. There you can simply download and then access the content from the in-game menu. |

I take it that the ones that work for Sr:R and the ones that work for Sr:D are different? |

But I guess so, as Dragonfall introduced new tilesets. The basic game functionality is the same, though, so it could still work. Besides: Dragonfall is a really good story and I highly recommend it. |
