Is there a maximum number of bonus dice ala 1.5x the base or is the limiting factor the limits themselves?

Like lets say you get 6 successes on analyze device for a shovel are you now getting +6 bonus dice to dig a pit?

Force (or reagents) sets limits for spells.

Plus do not forget that you have to maintain the spell while doing this so that's a -2 dice for sustaining a spell.

Sure, but is there a limit to the number of bonus dice. That's the basic question. Can you take +1 here, +2 there, etc etc etc until you have a lot. Or only a certain number?

There is no such limit in SR5, at least so far as I've seen. Nor is one needed - there aren't as many easy bonus dice kicking around anymore. Stuff like the Smartlink or Vision Enhancement bonuses require the risk of going wireless.
