This is where I'm looking to find out when you read about a product for SR on a sales site, but what you get isn't as described is it the website that put it up or Catalyst for providing copy for the product?

When you look at Amazon there are two products "Sprawl Sites High Society Low Life" and "Sprawl sites of NA" We ordered one having read what the copy of Amazon said and what we got had the right picture and title, but what was inside the cover was really what was described for the other one. We returned it, ordered the other item and that had the contents described by the first item, even though it's on line copy actually described what was in the first packet we received.

So clearly with two similar products the advertising copy got switched, but i want to know who would have made that mistake?

Cadalyst does not supply Amazon directly, the Big A gets their stock from a third party distributor.

So it's probable that the mistake is from either the distributor or Amazon themselves.

It's not totally surprising, either way it's some dude entering a list of hundreds or thousands of products into a sales system and accidentally swapping the text for two similarly named products.

Also in both cases, contact Amazon to get it fixed. They control the final listing, after all.

Just to be clear, when you got the High Society the pages inside were for SSHSLL so this was not a priting/cover error?

Going on the assumption the books insides and outsides matched up, I would probably assume a simple accidental switch at the Amazon level.

They have to load all the little snippets in and with similar names flipping the two is not improbable.

Maybe the data was sent misnamed from the distributor, again with common names it could have been transposed.

Mistakes/accidents will happen, which is why they have return policies and customer support to help when these things happen.

We ordered high society low life based on what the copy said. What we received was that item, but it was in b/w not color. The inside of the item was not what how it was described on Amazon's site. It is what was described on the BACK cover of the item but not the amzaon site copy. BUT the copy for sprawl sites NA describes what we received.

Amazon was VERY good about returns but we were curious who made the error.
