Do spirits in 4e use separate or unified condition monitors? How about Ally spirits, seeing as they are unique?

Critters can be run as grunts or prime runners. I'd suggest running most spirits as grunts, ally/free spirits as prime runners. That said, if your group treats grunts as having separate condition monitors rather than a unified one, the same should be done for critters.
