The only "sports car" that could break a rating 32 barrier is the Ferrari Open Wheel Racer if it had nitrous engaged.

Though, as long as the people inside were wearing their safety belts they'd be fine, and even though the racer took 32D from the impact, it'd still be going over 100 mph (137 speed) as it clears the barrier, destroying it completely.

Yup, you'd need to be travelling at more than 640 meters per CT or 768km/h to break through a rating 32 Barrier.

If you are within around 5-10 meters of someone, you can just shoot them with a regular grenade. The grenades so not arm immediately after leaving the barrel... This will do around 5-6M stun. You might be bettwr off slapping a silenced pistol on the monuting rail and firing it the the smartlink...

The canon arming range is 5 meters. Which is, of course, way too short, but whatever. I did the damage thing quite extensively already, though. :)

If you've got a VCR-3 and good low Handling, you can expect 10 or 11 successes on the Ramming test. That's -30 to -33, making 32D extremely soakable.

Ah, but the 32D was from a collision, not a ramming test.

If the Ferrari Open Racer were to ram the barrier, rather then collide, it's damage would magically become 78D minus that 30 or 33. But unfortunately for the rigger inside, as it's a ramming test, they don't get the magical protection of the seatbeat, or rather he would take one wound level less then the car took, at the power of the crash.

And should it take any damage from the ramming action, it'll be forced to make a crash test or hit a barrier that sprung up on the other side of that rating 32 barrier..

Hopefully for the rigger, it barrier would be rating 6, so he could crash through that one too.

The rules for explosions against barriers make a heck of a lot more sense than driving into barriers. (Un-)Fortunately? Better stick with the C-12, because your GM might get creative and decide that driving into a 2-meter thick reinforced steel&concrete wall with a sports car at 768km/h (477mph) results in death, regardless of use of seat belts.

... Even if you are just rigging it from a few kilometers away :)
