I'm preparing to GM the Harlequin Campaign. For the part where the runners bring Frosty to Harlequin in Tarislar there is a guitar solo descriped. Does anyone have an idee what would sound appropriate?

IŽd have to borrow the book to read the description. Going blind IŽd suggest an unplugged version of The Eagles - Hotel California.

Been long time since I've run it....pretty sure I described it as the blues.
Edit: Liking the Crow solo linked above though. |

I was thinking of the Crow solo instnantly when I read the title! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Driven, emotional, narcicist, overdone, silly 90s stuff!

Or for fun if one of the runners has some skill with the guitar they could have a wee guitar duel.

I played Stairway to Heaven when I ran it back in the day. Worked pretty well.

Steve Vai - Final Guitar Solo
Up until 0:42 without the God Gave Rock 'N' Roll to You II business. If this is supposed to be bluesy, Crossroads - Guitar Duel without the gospel music and Russian dubbing from 00:44 to 02:45. |

There's no way Harlequin is not going to show off, and the Crow thing does not count as showing off. The short version is here: Eugene's Trick Bag Or for more soul, Stevie Ray Vaughan doing Little Wing would work Stevie |
