[SR4] Several Questions

- Gorgon (Critter). IIRC in one of the previous sourcebooks (maybe SR3) or fluff text, there was a note, that other dracoforms attack this critter on sight. Does anybody know where this was written? Do I possibly confuse this with another critter?
- Poison-Vector (Contact): in the following description of the vector is written, that impact armor helps at damage resistance. Does the penetration bonus also count against impact armor or only for armor specifically made to resist poisons (chemical resistance add-on, bio- or cyberware)?

2) Impact armor helps only for melee attacs (see toxin protectoin table in the basic book)

=> The victim makes a resistance test using Body + the rating of any protective
systems or gear.

=> this means things like chemical protection

=> If a contact-vector toxin was applied with a melee attack, the character
receives her Impact armor bonus as well.

You may have a snippet about hydras from the Earthdawn Dragons sourcebook in mind, in which Vasdenjas relates the story of their creation and that dragons try to wipe them out.

All dragons kill hydras on sight as quickly and cleanly as possible. They are abominations, but they did not ask to be created, nor did they choose their terrible existence

Also:

They are rarely aggressive except when hungry, frightened, disturbed, or in the presence of other dracoforms—dragons are known to be very aggressive towards hydras, and only the effort of conservationists keeps the species from extinction.

Makes the rumors about a great hydra guarding a clutch of eggs on Madagascar even more interesting, no?
