Graywalkers: a Tactical Turn-Based CRPG inspired by Shadowrun and other table-top RPGs. It's designed to bring as much of a table-top experience into the game as possible. Magic, Modern & Medieval weapons!

Check it out (and pledge!):
We are back on Kickstarter at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dreaml...ost-apocalyptic

Our dev team is made up of all long-time (and current) Shadowrun players! In Graywalkers, you can create your own custom PC: choosing gender, race, appearance, path, skills, and special abilities. Your team members can be recruited and customized as you see fit. Want your mage to start using a gun? No problem; you can add to that skill as he levels up! (He can even start using it before he has the skill--if he really wants to miss often (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

Coming out for Windows, Mac and Linux. PLAYABLE pre-alpha combat demo is available at http://graywalkers.com/Demo.html
(In Demo: Hold down middle mouse button and move mouse for camera control; mouse wheel zooms in & out)

Thanks so much for the support,
Entropy

I have been eagerly waiting for this and just supported.

As a former resident of Las Vegas, Nevada who used to enjoy wandering out in the desert with my longarm and practicing riflery with my friends, I feel like there is a special spirit of the place to inspire a game like this, especially around the area of Nelson, NV. I believe the same spirit of the place really inspired Fallout New Vegas as well which turned out to be an excellent game.

I just got an email that they need some more money to hit their goal and were going over all their rewards. If you pledge $150, apparently you can take a photo of yourself in costume with all your guns and stuff and they'll make you a character in the game.

What fun! How many firearms can you strap to your person? What happens when a real person tries to look like a FPS hero?

I'm thinking through my gun collection and am imagining:
*M16 A2 style slung down front on tac sling
*Mossberg 590 shotgun slung on back
*1911 pistol in drop holster
*ALICE belt and yoke riding high with M16 ammo pouches, to still allow additional attachments on pants belt, also with buttpack for in-character food and water
*Pistol mag pouches on belt
*Shotgun ammo bandolier across shoulder and torso
*Knife on belt
*1970s army goggles taking up whole face
*Sword in scabbard on left hip

If I saw a character portrait like that in a game I'd crack up. It would be so awesome.
