I love Kyle's 5th edition character sheets, but the latest one (2.5a) doesn't calculate Essence correctly (at least in Foxit Reader). For example, if I have .01 Essence left it displays as .009999 etc.

Could/would someone with PDF editing experience fix this?

Sounds like classic float error.

(0.1 can not be represented in a digital way, just like we can't write 1/3 in decimal form.)

Try set essence to 0.0100001 and it should round the other way (hopefully)

I can confirm the error is repeatable in other pdf viewers. The form shows a derived value using float.

By making my cyber cost 5.98999999999999 the essence left shows 0.010000000000000 instead but that looks a bit stupid as well. But it is a sort of temporary fix if needed.

There's no way to fix the code?
