So....jetpacks maybe? I can't find any reliable sources, but I can't find anything debunking this, either. Anyone know if this is legit?

If you pause the video at the right times during the credits, you'll see lots of subliminal nuyen.

As far as I know it is legit. He's done these things before and there should be some older videos on youtube of his stuff.

If that's a guy called Yves Rossey, it's legit. He flew across the English channel a few years back (20.6 miles), the whole lot was live broadcast on TV.

That pack's built with mostly off-the-shelf hardware too. The engines are based on model aircraft engines, as is the entire fuel / electrical system. It terms of control it has a throttle. A bit o' clever design on the wing profile itself puts the center of lift just where it needs to be for him to control pitch and roll via body movement. It's crazy to watch.

If there's not a military variant in existence somewhere, I'll eat my own boot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Some more for ya

edit: just noticed how long ago last post was, apologies if this is considered thread necromancy >.<
