Anna quickly changes to her Zoe Heritage dress, and then applies some eyelinear. Laughing at herself that she attempts to look good even before meeting a professional mercenary. She has bnc make her a burner with the evidence for the meet and take the actual physical note with her. She comes armed with a concealed Defience ex shocker. Her own piece is coated with RP polymer which makes it even more difficult to observe. She debates for a short while between the improve intuition to the improve charisma spell for the meet and chose the charisma. It would make things less likely to escalate to violence if she can say the right thing.

The parking lot allowed her to get some backup, perhaps but Kynos stood next to the exit. Anna approached him and then introduced herself as "Anna" the name matched the SIN she was displaying, and clearly did not try to hide it. Feeling that the man was not there for small talk she bluntly said "I think that your employer is about to terminate you... In the more literal manner."

bnc switches to subvocal, then gets into her armchair and goes full VR.
"You're good, barbie. There's nothing you'll need but a silver tongue and a pair of tits. Krestov, please stay nearby, maybe in a parking car. I don't think you need to make any extraordinary efforts to remain undetected. If he's observant, he may see that Anna is not some chinky chick who comes without proper protection. I'm with you, too. She then slaves all of Yael's gear to her commlink in order to provide protection. At the parking lot, she marks Yaels car. If she has to make a flight, bnc wants to be able to control the car if the mage can't. When Kynos arrives, the young decker charges the agent with the task to go check all hidden commlinks for guns and provide me a list of the PANs the guns are part of.

Anna considers the suggestion but decides against it. The parking lot is a public place and she does not want her spirits to make a possibly violent appearance in such settings. She responded - "I'll pass on the spirit, but I have a taser. Gun-fights happen... but powerful spirits causing damages is news worthy. It takes a moment to summon one if I am really in a bind."

Kynos looked at Anna for a very long second:
"I think I've seen you before. Weren't you the escort girl with Dr. Esteban. I might not have the keenest eye for faces, but I do remember the kind of T&A that you are sporting.
Now, I'm not saying what you say isn't true, but what is in it for you to tell me that? I don't assume you do this out of the goodness of your heart."
There was a hint of threat in the man's voice but he didn't move to attack or otherwise show aggression.

The agent began to sift through the hidden icons, detecting a large number of stealth tags as well as a Trans Sys Avalon, glasses with active vision enhancement and a taser with active laser sight.

She shrugged "Yes it was me... I needed the cash, and believe it or not - that night was not the worst of my month." She stopped herself from gossiping and then tried to focus. Stopping that thought and starting again. "Anyhow, as I was... 'working', I
found this note." she handed him the note. "It raised my interest and motivated me to study it further. Next thing, was that he used mojo during the night. You see, I am a practitioner myself I am studying at the university and everything. Then I got suspicious and started investigating...

She paused and then took some air, and continued, not completely at ease but finding the experience enticing. "Short version, the man is a Blood mage, practicing a forbidden, illegal and very dangerous magical tradition. There is a generous bounty on people like him. The other bodyguard is part for it as well, perhaps a Blood adept. I identified some dark magical bond between them as well as residue of recently a recently performed Blood ritual. "

She suggested "To answer your question, I understand that I am in deep water and am above my pay grade. There is little that I can do with this case study that I performed. I assumed that you might know how to take advantage of this kind of information, given your line of work. If you do profit from this information, I think that a finder fee is a fair compensation for my efforts... " She looked at the man to judge his intentions, and allowed herself a careful grin as she added "After all...my T&A may have just saved your life.

Either you are telling the truth and want to help me help you, or you are running a con, trying to turn me against my employer.

The third option is that you are telling me a partial truth, but have another, ulterior motive.

Anna tried to help and say something useful, perhaps to stall and let bnc whisper something wise to her ear. She genuinely was surprised by the question - why would Kynos think that she knew exactly how he would be terminated. She frowned, and did not comment on his open suspicions. Of-course it was one of these three, but she would not let her body language tell the man more than her words. She replied "Look, Kynos you are not exactly a nice or pleasant person.
Heck, it is kind of creepy to meet with in these circumstances. These guys are far worse then yourself, though. I was only trying to do the right thing and perhaps, if you are crazy enough to face them make a few coins.

She continued. "I showed you the note and I saw the way he looked at you at that Opera. He was offended that you did not enjoy the fucking music. I could sense that he restrained himself. He is a terrible person, rich and powerful and if this is not difficult enough he is an initiated mage of high potential power... Even if I only got it half right, the sensible thing is to leave now. No bounty - but safety, yes. Seriously, even if you collect the bounty and exclude me... it is not like I can force you to pay. I am here because I hope that you would be reasonable, either because you are an honest person or because you want to preserve this relationship. This bounty is very far from certain and I am aware of that. It is just that I am in a bit of a bind in finance, so I do what I need to make ends meet."

She paused and then said "To answer your question, I do not know exactly how. I know that Ramierz is going to do so. You work with the guy, you know what he is like and you have a good eye... Place yourself in his shoes... How would he do it? When would you be most vulnerable? ...

You do know that Ramirez is supposed to sacrifice Kynos during the winter solstice in a blood magic ritual - so likely with a dagger on an altar

"You seem to be a bit unsure. Would you like to take some time to rehearse your story again?"
Kynos reply sounds mellow - if you ignore the acidic sarcasm.

"Look man, They are going to sacrefice you on an unholy Blood alter during Winter solstice. Their plan is to kill you with a dagger to your hear. I have no knowledge exactly how they plan to get you tied up to that alter -as I doubt you would sacrefice yourself willingly. You have to figure that part up...

Kynos nodded: "I see. Tell you what: I'll do some investigations of my own. Depending on what I find out... well I don't have many principles, but people always get from me what I owe them.
Capturing a blood mage isn't trivial, seeing as you need to take them alive to get the bounty. Oh and one other thing:"

She exhaled and said "Be safe Kynos, and thanks." she pocketed the stealth tag in her purse and walked toward the store. She exited shortly after with some basic loot such as a new pair of jeans that she thought were bnc's size a long dress and some shoes.
While inside the shop she texted to know if Slobber wanted anything, and if he did she picked it up for him.

When exiting she explained "I wanted him to be gone to avoid being seen together..."

She said "Well, I put it in my dorms room, meet you laters." With that in mind she took the bus to her university's dorm room. The dormatory was quiet as everybody were in classes, so sneaking in was relatively discreet. Her roomate, Debbie was however in the room, sleeping late. Anna opened the door quietly and entered. "She is alone... " she sighed in relaxation, without much hesitation she pocketed the chip in one of her nice dresses, and quietly exited the room, hoping not wake her roomate. It was noon after-all which was about the time Debbie ususally woke up. The attractive woman could have been an A student - but her hot and untamed nature meant that she actualy studied very little... It also made her the best wingwoman and an occational lover, which was what Anna really cared about. Still, she missed her and some part of her hoped to get caught in some meaningless conversation.

The next stop from the dormatory was the dull safehouse... But they were going to do something remarkable very soon - and it made Anna feel alive and confident in levels that she did not feel before. She was a different person than she was just a few days ago, some choices could not be undone.

Mike, can you get me one spare drone? I'll send it to Anna. She can attach the tag to the drone. Meanwhile, I will set up a routine to simulate an authentic motion pattern, in case he's watching. Though, somehow I cannot see these guys getting along and fetching some replacement... perhaps I am naive. I doubt I could put 'you wanted to sacrefice me on a Blood alter' behind me. She followed the orders and kept the tag with her to attach to a drone.

With that business concluded, it became time to prepare for the early morning action against both the mage and the decker. Per schedule, both would begin their shift at 6 o'clock in the morning.
Schmitt intoned this as well: "Get an early rest, we need to get up at four and send the equipment to the boat house, drive to the island while passing the checkpoints and load up again, so we are in position once the the shift change has occurred. Mike will make sure you all get a good breakfast beforehand. 12 hours from now you'll be rich and I'll have my prototype back. So enjoy your last night at the safe house."

bnc bites down a remark when Dr. Schmidt suggests slash orders they get up at 4am. Rather than that, bnc attaches a tag-controlled needle to her. At 3.45, soft music would wake her up, followed by more powerful one some minutes later. 3.55, a mix of soft stimulants would be injected into her system to get her up and ready.
Short after 4 am, bnc joins the breakfast table, wide awake and motivated, but also biting her lip in a way that indicates nervousness to those who got to know her closer She is silent in spite of being rather awake, showing that she takes today's task rather serious.

"'d morning, ev'ry'un. Big day, huh? I'd do with some extra chocolate on my soyghurt muesli. Also, I need volunteers to promise that they will rather die than leaving our after-coup party afore 8am. When we're done with this, I need to really shake it. K, for you, it's not an option. I need you to be with me. This, chummers, will be a turning point in all of our lives."

Slobber has been up for hours, but he usually sleeps early. He's abnormally pensive while he sips a soykaf. He mutters something when bnc brings up the after party. "Yeah, party. Sounds fun.

I certainly hope so.

"Doc, during our interview you suggested you could help with my unwanted celebrity status with KE. What exactly are you going to be able to do?"

Anna spent the evening before playing the guitar, it helped her relax and keep her mind off things. She was too excited to get proper sleep but forced herself to sleep. She woke up at 15:30, and did not leave her room before a shower, lotions, and makeup. If she was going to prison - at least she'll be pretty when they take her picture... not that one could see much under a full body armor. Yet, being pretty was mainly a confidence thing. The hour was too early to eat, so she settled for a chocolate bar and a can a coffee and a stimulant chewing gum.

Grinning she asked bnc, "What did you have in mind?"
