I haven't read the books in question, nor her full Shadowrun novel, Borrowed Time. I did read Wolf & Buffalo and thought it was passable. The reviews on Amazon are positive, and it doesn't take long to read. (20 PDF pages, plus 3 more for the cover, contents, and character stats page.)
