(IMOO) ..what i have seen, Technomancer is not popular ( especially in 5ed ), Street Samurai is popular due simplicity.

Awakened Chars are very Popular ( an Adept is a very simple "Beginner's Char" )
Deckers aren't played often, but
Technomancer are ....the "redheaded Stepchildren of SR5 "
