As I mechanically trudge through the task of reworking my stuff for the new site, I do sometimes catch myself actually reading a sentence or two of an article that's actually fairly funny. My favorite line so far has to be: "Never offer a troll a bite of your cheeseburger lest ye wish to go hungry."

Just tossed all of my reformatted Blackjack's People up on a page that is getting increasingly cluttered. Believe it or not, I'm still using Frontpage 2002 to design the site. I can't code worth a damn. When the hell did building a web page get so goddamned complicated? Anyway, Blackjack's Shadowrun Page is slowly gaining steam. Ok, so I didn't end up with the gritty, cutting edge page I was planning, but at least it's functional. www.BlackjackSR.com is, well, here. I still have a ton of stuff to convert, but at least I'm at the point I can try to promote it on Reddit and the shadowrun wikki. Whether I continue really depends on how many people follow me on Twitter (@sr_blackjack. I'm not going to bother if nobody is stopping by.
Oh, and you may have to manually refresh the page. It's cashing despite my efforts to stop it. |

It's true. I just recently turned over the reigns to my SR3 game, which has been running longer than my kids have been alive. (I'm still playing, just not running.)
If we keep waiting patiently, they'll release SR3.1. They pretty much have to. |

And I remember again why I loved your page as a kid. Good stuff that aged pretty well.
I am so running the Records technorun when my current one with my group is through. I just love the idea - the disorganized startup hiring runners to forge documentation they themselves could not be bothered with when they had the chance. Classic corp run with a twist. |

I'm not sure this is the place to guage how many people appreciate your work; it is no longer the instant response place it once was. I hadn't logged in here in years, but I do appreciate your stuff. I too, don't twitter. I don't Reddit much either, but it seems more active than Dumpshock, at least to me. There are a few Facebook groups dedicated to Shadowrun, the most active being Shadowrunners Union. You should post a few heads up there.

On the front page of the site, right above the new posts you have a mini comic strip with the title Denied Assets above it.
It does not link back to any other page, so was curious if this is something new you are doing or if it is from somewhere else. |
