disguise rolls:
Disguisex4: 4#24d6t5 9 11 9 5 I took 4 accidentally, so just take the last one-off. I think that the limit is 7 (Anna's mental limit) unless she gets aid with leadership then we'll have 8 hits per disguise. |

I suppose we can take our existing (armored) business clothing as part of the disguise.

The only difference I would say is the that we need the ambulance too, especially if we are retrieving a corpse. That would put Sharkboy a little closer if we need him as the driver. I can't see a situation where Rabe can leave that place under his own power. He is either dead, or wishing he was. There isn't a corp in the world that would stuff a body in a duffel bag and dump him in a trunk, at least, not publicly.

Yeah, in that price range you can get a VM in your car, no problem.

Yeah, in that price range you can get a VM in your car, no problem. Okay, I will ask the dumb question. What is a valkyrie module? Yes I will google it too edit: Okay, now I know, still prefer having an ambulance as I do not want to share a limo with a corpse |

but sharing an ambulance with a corpse is more pleasant somehow? Not that Anna would mind which car Eliza gets us.

A Valkyrie Module is sealed - and you'd get a complimentary bodybag anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Do I have to encrypt the file so that others wouldn't notice that the encryption is broken? Or is it only removed for bnc but otherwise still in place?
I am not sure anymore how you rule the log file to mask my breach. |

Once you break the encryption you can open and close the file freely, but the file is still encrypted, so no worries.
Breaking encryption is an attack action that should by raw alert the host. I think I'll allow that action just be a Sleaze action and be done with it. No need for further house rules |

Not yet, the sin reader is a slaved device to which you now have a direct connection.
DR 5. Securest way to make sure your SINs read as legitimate would be three MARKs and a format device test with rootkit program. That way your changes persist even after a restart. |

Pretty sure, we will need SINs or at least some forgeries that will hold up long enough. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes, but thanks to the rigged SIN reader, you can basically get any number approved - even an R1 will now suffice.

If we can rely on them only using this SIN reader and no other means to control our SINs, that is.

Well, you can always go back into the host and look for other verfication methods used there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

So, is there a way to make temporary IDs for us, that fit to our plan?

I assumed that you all have a low level, disposable SIN
But theoretically that wouldn't be necessary: Even entering a random, bnc defined number now will show the desired results. (I imagine the SIN reader to consist of a panel to enter the SIN by hand or as a QR code or per RFID, followed by a biometric reader for prints and face.) As soon as the magic number is entered, the machine will display the defined Identity, no matter what other Input it received. |

I did not write it in my sheet, but Abdecker did gave us R1 SINs when Anna insisted on getting paid somehow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Did bnc just use a racial slur or is that shadowrun slang?

Uhm, actually both.
When I created bnc back in 2015, she was a 19 yo European. To reflect youth speech and the geographical differences in slang, I tried to create some typical German slang terms, like mucho malo, Ajla ("Irony of life"), förböveln, chipsie ("idiot") and, well, chinky (basically for "bad"). It has indeed derived from racial prejudices but when she or any other youth uses the word, they don't think of Chinese much more than you think of the feces of a male cow when you say "bullshit". Sharkboy, however, wouldn't be familiar with the slang term. bnc hardly uses it anymore (mostly, because she isn't a youth herself anymore) and he's a grown-up American. So, he'd likely interpret it the same way you do: as racism. |
