Oh man!
I am back from Gen Con 2024! I am exhausted, but I am posting now. Have you guys ever gone? I played three games of SR 6th edition. I was thoroughly confused by the rules, especially because I made a mystic adept focusing on strength, melee and a weapon focus. In 6e strength doesn't affect your melee damage, and force drain is Willpower + Intellect or Charisma (not + Sorcery), so in the first two games my character was bordering unconsciousness. Yes, I went to many GENCONs. At least as far back as #17, for which I had a t-shirt. Back when it was in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Many good memories.
Welcome back! Well, they have to change the rules significantly from one edition to the next, otherwise people won't be forced to buy a whole new set of books. "Fixing" things in the previous edition is really about keeping up the cash flow. |

Booker is one of Karmakaze's listed contacts and got a hold of Karmakaze to get some help finding Daisy, along with other, smaller jobs which, I think (I too would have to refresh), are to do with PD's messing about. PoliDemos is around the city, we dealt with them earlier, but Booker filled us in on PD's machinations in the Fremont area of Seattle, sort of in between Lake Union and Green Lake. Yes, we crossed the border in the Redmond Barrens, which appear to be living down to their name. |

Just 'cause I feel good about it, I'd like you to know that the sheepdog trial season her in Ontario ended, and my dog and I finished second in our rookie class! We are "Reserve Champions"! And so we are automatically bumped up to the intermediate class for next year. I'll be starting my second dog, still a puppy, next year as a rookie.
Back to Shadowrun. Having gone into the Stuffer Shack, Blue realizes he just lost his spirit that had been tagging along the whole trip. What time of day/night is it now, as they sit in the Stuffer Shack? |
