If any of you OS X users out there use Adium for your IM client you might be interested in this. At the moment it's pretty bare bones, but the new WebKit Message Themes in Adium are pretty simple to mess around with. I figured I'd post this up here and see if someone with more designer talent than myself could make it look as cool as it should.
Basically it's designed after the SR2-style decker comments from the sourcebooks as far as layout goes... Download the WebKit Theme Here The DMG file includes the WebKit theme and Wordman's Shadowrun and Decker fonts. The Decker font is currently the only one used by the theme. The WebKit theme consists of two CSS files that set the CSS properties of the display, layout, color, etc. and nine HTML files. Four incoming, four outgoing, and one for status messages. They're all fairly similar to each other and only the base.css (most of the css changes) and the main.css (incoming/outgoing/status colors) need be changes for the most part. Unless you want to change my lame system message design. :-P Anyways, it could be fun and the way it's designed it's easy enough to have several version changes as long as it's only the css files that are changes. Just copy main.css into the Variants folder and change it's name to something descriptive. So, yeah, I said a lot there didn't I. Well, if anyone of you out there is interested in it or makes any changes let me know. I'd love to make it look a little better as it's pretty spartan right now. |

Well, I kind of thought some of you OS X users would have been interested in this...perhaps not?
If you guys don't use Adium what do you use for an IM client? Also, I did some minor fixes and have the time/date stamp looking right now. I'd love to hear if any of you guys have color or other layout suggestions. It still don't feel quite right, but I don't know what to do with it. Now, to turn my attention to that OS X character generator...heh. |

I'm using Proteus 4 for IM stuff, currently - but I'd be very unlikely to be interested in themes or the like; I've always found them to take away from the things I like out of an OS: uniform applications :)
