I've arrived successfully in London (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I don't see a reason why we can't have two interludes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I don't see a reason why we can't have two interludes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Was going to say that, too. Part I "San Angelo" and Part II "Seattle". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Enjoy your vacation! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Bye Thanee |

PS: Jack did we get to keep the reagents? The other question is... can we even use some of them (i.e. are they "generic" or based on a certain tradition). V's stuff was listed in the IC: QUOTE Two spell sustaining foci - Manipulation and Health - as well as a centering focus and a power focus, all of them F6. Bye Thanee |

Yes, I don't believe every tradition has unique reagents, but preferences which ones they work with. (Hermetics like stuff they can store in powder form, while shamans prefer unprocessed stuff)
Especially refined and radical reagents have to be tradition agnostic, as they are pure alchemy products. |

This is from p. 316, emphasis added:
"Reagents are surprisingly common, but not all reagents can be used by every tradition. The cube of cinnabar that the hermetic magician values is useless to a shaman, just as the shaman’s bundle of feathers is of little interest to the magician. Generally speaking, the reagents from one tradition only work at half strength to magicians of other traditions. This makes trading in reagents a tricky proposition to anyone not versed in the fine art of talismongering." I'm debating whether to spin up an Interlude for San Angelo or if we should just continue Chapter 10 since this is a direct continuation. Mostly this is because we have it synchronized so that Interlude 10 follows Chapter 10, and I like the symmetry of it. If we do two Interludes it will throw the numbering off. |

Let's just keep the current thread running then - easiest solution (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
I can keep GMing for a little while longer thanks to stable internet connection |

There are threads for the (first) interlude, already. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
