Personally I fear melee combat. I just started a new campaign, and one of the characters (just starting out mind you) is a troll, who, through the wonders of bioware and diakoting, rolls 7 dice with a TN 2 (reach 3), and does 15D with a knockback of 16.

I pretty much just shoot at him whenever a suitable NPC is handy.

The damage from unarmed can be insane... I recently made a Troll adept with dikoted spurs that rolled 9 dice to attack, at reach 1, and did 18S damage, enough to crack open an armoured car if he needed to. Plus, with a body around 14, he wasn't going to be hurt in melee, and he was fast as all hell too. Even had a decent willpower to keep himself safe from spells. Wheee!

Of course, he was a little crazy, and I mainly made him as a villian/plot device for player characters to deal with.
