*Stares ahead blankly* Uh...oh er uh yes, right, right. Very silly. Yes, very silly indeed. Preposterous! The very idea! *Nods head solemnly*

EDIT: On second thought, some stones are better left unturned. Edited post to prevent horrible untimely demise by ninja drop bear assassins in the dead of the night. *looks around nervously*

Double EDIT: ARGH! I can't believe I actually referenced that thread!!! :dead:

WR1 - I find that it isn't actually illogical, it is just a bizarre kind of cyclical logic that travels far a field to come up with the correct answer. :D

It is why I love having at least woman or two in my gaming groups. All of the guys logic just plunges forward in that straight as an arrow, typically linear way and gets confused at some of the plot twists, while the women of the group can easily work their way through the twisted halls of plot to come up with the correct solution an hour or two before the guys.

If you ever truly want to mess with a group of men while role-playing have your girl friend or wife come up with an adventure plot for the night and watch the boys twist in the breeze. It is a lot of fun. :D

I can't believe that we haven't gotten a "BWAHAHAHAHAHA" evil GM laugh from WR1 yet. If you're going to send the merry cow down from the heavens (or the Loffy Nuke, depending on your style), then gloating is a natural reaction.

Mm, fun fun fun!

I was the only female in my gaming group for the longest time and there was nothing sweeter than watching the guys squirm when it was my turn to DM. Well, maybe the small offerings they brought before each of my sessions, but only by a bit. ;)

Max is so going to jail. :D

Assuming these are actually Lone Star police of course, which is debateable.

WR1-
John's going to attempt to open the door and unlatch the bookshelf in case he has to join the fun.

[ Spoiler ]

Edit: This would have happened as soon as the "Detective" first asked about the Wongs.

QUOTE (WinterRat1)
Slip, Eyes- You’re both up. Let me know if either of you needs any more detail/clarification, before responding, especially you Eyes. :D

Eyes- Heh, well if that’s the case, don’t you wish you had an equivalent of this in your life as well? And since the University is/is becoming such a major part of Eyes’s past, would you please collect what we’ve discussed in the OOC thread so far, add anything you feel is necessary to further flesh it out, and incorporate it into your backstory and/or 20 Questions as you deem appropriate, then send it to me so I can add it to your file? Thanks a lot, let me know if that made sense and if you have any questions or thoughts regarding this request.

Man, oh man. You know what's really scary? I DID! :rotfl:

And given what happenned with her, I'm definately tensing for bclements's imminent orbital bovine impact. (Morgannah doesn't have to tell *me* about the evils of women in white suits. :D) Poor Eyes; he has no idea what's in store for him... :wobble:

And yeah, I'm kinda already collecting this stuff together for inclusion in his backstory. Unfortunately I don't really have time right now to respond, so I'll have to do it in the morning.

Whoa whoa whoa. I'm sensing story here. You can't possibly drop a statement like that in our laps without SOME kinda explanation. Consider the 'pause' button pressed on the impending Loffie Nuke, as BC called it, with the possibility of even subsequent retraction, pending said story, of course.

If it helps, look at it this way Eyes, the gaming gods have decreed that you share this story, because I put the 'white suit' description in at the last second before posting due to a sudden and unknown prompting. Surely the gaming gods work in mysterious ways...:)

I leave for three days and you guys post two pages on me? And Morgannah starts posting regularly on the OOC thread? I suppose it's too much to hope she's made a couple of IC posts since I've been gone.

WinterRat1: I'll keep awarding Eyes karma, just let me know if he gets a bonus for quality, etc.

Bah! I was under the impression that I had a week to perfect my post; it's not my fault that you can't stay away.. :wobble:

Scrap, Slip- You guys are free to post, and can leave if you like. Feel free to post to whenever/wherever. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything from me. And see? I’m not out to screw you over every which way. Just most of them. :grinbig:

Grendel- Eyes gets a point of karma for quality this week.

Everyone- The gloating doesn’t start until just before the shoe drops. Think of it like eating dinner with the Sword of Damocles hanging above your head. It’s so much worse when everyone acts like it isn’t there…

Think that covers responses to everyone who’s posted something that needs a response from me.

Oh no, no way am I airing that series of unfortunate events online. I will say though that the white suit isn't part of the story, but most of the history, right down to the sandy-blonde, tanned swimsuit model (and water polo player, who incidentally *would* look great in a white suit) has many eerie parallels with my own past.

And that's all you get. The amount of inebriation required to get me to tell the rest would likely kill me, in particular as alcohol gives me asthma attacks. :D

Why Eyes, I thought you said you had no idea what to do with women! (that was a comment by him buried somewhere in the mountain of random conversational topics this OOC thread has spawned)

If you’re hanging out with a ‘sandy-blonde, tanned swimsuit model (and water polo player, who incidentally *would* look great in a white suit)’, you must have some idea what you’re doing. At least I would hope so! ;)

And if you aren’t sharing the story…

“Orbital bovine and Lofwyr Nuke Fire control, this is Universe Coordinator. That’s an abort on previous hold order. Resume firing sequence, prepare to launch, on my mark…” :D

Nice try (both of them), but you're still not getting the story. :D

WR1 - The only thing I am waiting for from you is the information from the Wong's and when they are going to set up a meeting with Hideo and the Director of the Camp. Though I am scheduled to see Hideo already at 7:00 am on Wednesday for "the job" I believe.

Slip- They'll call and leave a message while you're gone, it will take them time to get meetings set up. So go ahead and move forward, they'll contact you at the appropriate moment.

Scrap- By extension, you also are free to move forward.

WR1-
So we can just assume that John and Max were not followed (by car, at least) and post up until Loveland Quinns, correct?

I'll have something up to that effect later, unless Slip beats me to it!
