A chromed and wared to-the-teeth fearsome street samurai, serious sammy, has a pain editor installed. One fine morning when he's supposed to go meet his buddies for the run of a lifetime, he wakes up with a scathing toothache.
Question is, can sammy here choose to turn on his pain editor for a specific 'location'/s of his body whilst leaving it off for the rest? Or is sammy just going to have to sacrifice that tooth for the greater good? |

It's full-body. If you want to make something new that's located along the individual nerves, go for it, but the editor itself I see as shutting off the processing of pain stimuli at the brain.
Regardless of my interpretations, it's still full-body. ~J |

I would think the pain editor can't be controlled like that. It's pretty much all or nothing. After reading the description I am even more inclined to think so.I myself would definitely say no and go to the dentist ;)

Definitely full body. The only control a character has is the reflexive on-off switch.

It's full body because the rules don't go into location hits. The risk is that if you have it turned on, you won't know you've been damaged.
