Greetings.
I just got MitS-great book, thanks for the advice. The Idol Totems were really cool, so I thought about this little exercise-working out the HPL relationships. Could make for some interesting and Potent threats. Cthulhu-Sea King/Leviathan Azathoth-Dark King Nodens-Sky King Shub-Niggurath-Seductress/Great Mother Nyarlathotep-Adversary Ithaqua-Wind Llogior/Yig-Wyrm Cyaegha/Nyogtha-Moon Maiden/Siren Yeb-Lover Nug-Wild Huntsman Any comments are welcome... Squid shaman!
That shamanic mask would freak my cookies... -Siege Edit: Oh no! It's an evil, brain-sucking underground dweller! Gack it! :grinbig: |

I'd say the Idol Advantages work out to be pretty good for a Lovecraftian Pantheon, but I would rework the Disadvantages and Idol credos definitely to make it more appropriate for a Shaman of the Old Ones.
Perhaps for Cthulhu, the shaman begins to grow scales and fins as he gains Potency? :) |
