Looking about the table, Gritz breaks the lull, offering, "Wail then, is our business here conclu-ded?"

Brick nods and assumes this part of biz is concluded. He looks at each of the runners and says, "Well, then, gentlemen, shall we adjourn to a more private locale and begin?"

Johnny gives a little unconscious flourish and produces a credstick, which he slides on over to Mr. J.

`Everything seems set to me. I hope you don't mind offering the advance directly. Can't trust those Matrix transfers, now can we?`

A smile, and he nods the way of the others.

`I'll meet you boys out front, we'll trade info there and set up a meet of our own.`

The Johnson nods and lets a handful of certified credsticks clatter to the table, one for each of you. He then produces three more which he drops on the table as well. "The advance, you will excuse me if it is not split up evenly."

The each stick holds 10,000 :nuyen:

Brick picks up his credstick and pockets it, then nods to everyone, heading out front after Johnny.

Gritz slips a certified stick into his breast pocket, quietly mentioning, "Thaaank ye sir." Slightly surprised that Johnny did not pick up the advance sticks, Gritz turns to the remaining runners, putting a single meaty finger on one of the 10k sticks. "I can keep one of these safe 'till later." Barring protests, Gritz puts the credstick into an inner pocket. Taking one last look at the club (might be a nice place to come back to... eventually) Gritz follows Brick and Johnny out.

Johnny pockets both his credstick, and the one from the Johnson, and he slips from the booth, leaving a tip for the waitress. He makes his way to the front, sliding on his shades.

`Alright boys, who's got a ride? We can do our planning clubside.`

For the most part, they're already dressed for it, why not?

"I have my Scorpion. If you gentlemen will give me a few moments, I have to go get my helmet and leathers from the lockers."

Brick excuses himself briefly, just long enough to recover and put on his leathers, then returns, carrying his helmet.

Johnny takes up his pocsec, and calls up a quick query for the nearest bar. Something out of way. He gives everyone the address.

`Alright, we'll do a little meet and greet, and then we can get onto establishing covers. I'll ride in the 'Lee.`

First offer, and the friendliest seeming.

Tearing off in the General Lee (sure, it's an Americar painted red, and lacking in a confederate flag, but an ork's gotta have dreams, right?), Gritz turns to Johnny, his voice barely audible over the blasting bluegrass (sometimes Gritz forgets that not everyone has dampers). "So, ef I read you ri-ght, you're a deck cow-boy. You ever work for this J before?"

Brick follows along on his Harley. He's not a flashy cyclist...his engine runs efficiently and lacks the noise many set up their engines to make and he drives conservatively, aware that in any high speed impact with other vehicles, telephone poles, walls, the ground, etc, he's likely to draw the short end of the stick...and it'd hurt, too!

`You read me right my friend. Ain't no time like that on the wire.`

For the first bit of the ride he just gets comfortable. After a while thouh, he pulls out his pocket secretary to link to his PC and check his searches.

`We need to iron out some identities. It might be to our advantage to cover a few bases. Security personell are the obvious cover, but there's risk involved there. I'm thinking at least one of us needs to pose as a guest, to get into the more closed areas, and possibly one of the group could pose as building maintanence staff too.`

Talking shop before the actual meet, aye, but so far Gritz is the only one he feels is up to this.

Gritz sighs. He knows which team member is going to get to play janitor. All the same, a big trash bin is a great place to conceal an AK-47...

"In addition to havin' folks INside the center, we should have eyes OUTside the center as well. Maybe some kinda jury-rigged, hell, or fully rigged, set of cam-er-as, watching the major approaches. Best to nip trouble in the bud, ma mama used to say."

Johnny notices the sigh, and arches a brow.

`Wasn't thinkin' you for janitor my friend. We'll need a tech on the security detail, and I'm not so sure how inclined the others are.`

He closes the pocket secretary after a moment.

`Now when it comes to visual security, I have just the thing. Got a set of cameras rigged for remote monitoring.`

The General Lee is parked outside the bar-- here's to hoping there's some spots open. Gritz mentions to Johnny, "The door does open, I guess. It's just more fun to go through the windows, ye know?" All the same, Gritz uses the door. Squeezing an ork out a window chafes a bit.

Gritz gathers with the rest of the runners to plot.

Johnny, for his part, does use the door, he's got Armante' to think about after all. He joins the others outside of the smokey bar, and when they're all there gestures for them to take the lead. Best to get a few somewhat normal looking folks through before the electric blue haired suit enters.

Brick arrives and parks his bike outside the bar. This is his kinda place. He's made his living in the basements and parking lots of dives like this. He stalks over to the rest of the team as he takes off his helmet.

"Well, I see we have all arrived. SHall we step inside and get down to biz?" He holds his helmet in one hand, his briefcase in the other and waits for someone to open the door.

Swift Eagle leads the team to a large booth. "Anyone have a white noise generator?" he says in a low voice. Motioning a waitress over, he orders a bottle of water.

Brick opens his briefcase, popping out the white noise generator and turning it on.

"There, we can speak with a little less reservation, gentlemen. Allow me to begin the introductions. I am known as Brick. I am, for lack of a more flattering term, a pitfighter. I, however, prefer to be called a warrior if such titles must be used. I am skilled at hands on bodyguarding...the one who takes the bullet, not the one who coordinates the effort. If the client needs a pathway cleared, I can bulldoze through. If a hostile needs to be taken down, few can match my martial might. Adepts have fallen before my fury. I can work in many settings without embarassing myself or my client and can be unobtrusive, up front or blend in as a party goer as needed. So, for simplicity, perhaps my cover identity would be as a bodyguard to one of you social butterflies."

Inwardly he smiles, imagining their response to his well spoken and slightly overly loquatious rundown. He looks for that slightly distracted look that the awakened tend to have when percieving astrally, testing himself to see if he can spot them before they reveal themselves.
