Like the title says, any of you ever come up with some different and/or stranger character concepts compared to the 'normal' Shadowrun type people? Wondering because I had the idea for a character called John Smith, who rents himself out as the premiere torturer ('Information retrieval specialist' is says on his drivers licence) for hire in the northwest region. It's been fun trying to run down a list of his skills and whatnot. :)

I don't know how unusual the concept is but the Vigilante adept I ran was a really different character. He had borrowed time, a body of 2 and a lot of Adept powers that only started activating after he had taken damage. It was really difficult running a combat character who is more fragile than the mage in the group...

Another unusual concept was the amnesiac who was actually an interesting character. The enforcer of a toxic cult in Tsimshian, some weird drek happened to him and he ended up outside a chop shop in Seattle with no memories at all. He was done so well though that it ended up as the most interesting character we had had for a while. Especially when he "fellow" cultists finally worked out what happened to him and tracked him down.
