Well if we're on to novels, what was the name of the main character from Tails You Lose? Fairly well modified and never had to sleep. Ever. Has to be a handy thing.

Argent's trademark (at least that I know him by immediately) are his two matte black cyberarms (the main character in Lone Wolf mentions this as the thing that told him how serious Argent really was -- he had both his arms replaced as elective surgery). He's mentioned to be a Desert Wars veteran, but as far as I know not a lot else is mentioned about his background.

If we're looking for Most Deadly Cybered-Out Character Without Stats, I'd have to make it a tie between Argent and Kid Stealth.

Argent, Desert Wars Veteran, did indeed elect to have both fully functional arms amputated and replaced with souped-up cyber versions.

Kid Stealth, Organized Crime Veteran, blew off his own feet when given a pair of cement overshoes by his former comerades, then made it to shore and survived. He had his legs replaced by the backwards-facing pair that bears his name today, which incidentally have velociraptor-style claws on them. Oh, and he's basically a sociopath.

[/edit] Please note, this does not include cyberzombies, physads, or those genetically engineered to accept more implants than normal metahuman beings.

In light that vamps are now legal I vote Nemesis from an old module that I can't recall the name of. He's a canon vampire hitman with nearly 6 essence worth of cyber. Ubernasty.

QUOTE (Zeel De Mort)
FrostyNSO: Who's Torgo? The name doesn't sound familiar.

while this was asked to someone specific i want to answer it (partialy atleast) :)

from what i know torgo is a troll gangleader in seattle. he have a head full of tactical and strategic material (his favorite book is supposed to be "the art of war").

his full name in the new seattle book is lord torgo and is the leader of the spikes. they operate out of the tahoma area. thats all the info i have (the sr2 seattle sourcebook was not very informative on gangs and i could not even find a trace of the spikes in that book)...

I believe "tahoma" is an alternate translation of the indian word from which "tacoma" derives, and is also a local native name for Mt. Ranier (quite possibly there are multiple names for it as it is visible from 100 miles around). Though in this case it is most likely just a typo. :)

Ya know, Rev, looking at the little id bar to the left of the posts, it's a bit confusing when we post right after each other...given one letter difference in name, same sign-up date, similar location... :)

If I'm not mistaken besides his Intel history (comes back to haunt him in Run Hard, Die Fast), after he went shadowside Argent was also the leader of the defunct Wrecking Crew which got wiped out in 2XS helping Dirk Montgomery (which as far as I recall was also his first appearance in canon).

Teachdaire holds the first place. With his skills and reflexes coupled with that ring he is just nasty...

Michael Dumont from Elven Fire a close second - a really nasty samurai with Firearms 10, Armed and Unarmed Combat 9, Gunnery 7 and stats of 6, 6(8), 6(8), 1, 5, 5. (An elf, if you can believe that charisma...) Shim Bright from the same adventure is among the better mages.

"Tuesday" Takemura(yakuza bad-ass), Jonty Glendenhuys(bounty hunter), Samuel Lamptey(hyper-cybered fullback for the Seattle Seahawks), Martin deVries(vampire vampire hunter) and Karl Heinz Zessler(Spike-baby Elf Mage - though not necessarily immortal) are all pretty high-powered too. Prime Runners.

Schreck in Two Solitudes from Shadows of the Underworld is one of my favorite nasties. Twisted Way Adept who thrives on the pain of others, and he works for S-K.

Dominic O'Brienin Celtic Double-cross is one of the better mages around - Druidic Initiate Grade 8. Though not a combat mage, he can hold his own pretty good using his Conjuring 9, Sorcery 9 and force 7 to 9 Illusion spells. Plus he has some powerful magical items to help him along...

Kandle - Humanis Goon in the Double Dipping adventure in Shadows of the Underworld is a bad-ass, with 6(8), 12, 10 for (aug) physical stats, Firearms 8, MBW-2.

The Golden Gators for best ganger stats: B5, Q5, S6(8), C6, I5, W4; sword 8, and swords that do [STR+2]S w/Reach 2. DarkAngel.

The Tir Ghost Fire Support and Demolitions Guy in Corporate Download is kinda nasty to (especially for a 'generic' unnamed npc), with 8 in most firearms, MBW 3 and some nice gear.

As for the aforementioned Nemesis (from Total Eclipse) - he had Boosted Reflexes 1 and Cybereyes, that was it for cyber. He did, however, have a Quickness of 30... probably the result of the author misreading the movement multiplier for vampires as an actual raise in attribute. :grinbig:

Michael Dumont ... (An elf, if you can believe that charisma...)

His Charisma was likely damaged with all the experimental mind control and drugs used on him. Take a look at Green Lucifer too and how much he advanced in the few years between exile and Elven Fire, then add ten more years experience...

I hear his turn-ons are vulnerable European corporations, ancient Atlantean artifacts, and long walks on the beach.

Just for my understanding: what is the Shadows Of The Underworld-SB? Is it the "normal" Underworld-SB where all the major syndicates are described?

Lord Torgo is the gang leader of the Spikes, formerly the Spike Wheels. He's the one that made them wipe out the Silent Ps after he took charge. I've seen his stats, and you know, they weren't that impressive from a mechanical standpoint. But think about this... Since he took over, the Spikes went from an 'average' rated go-gang to a 'superior' rated go-gang. Compare and contrast:

The Ancients of Seattle:
# of Members: 100-150
Rating: Superior
At War With: Spikes

The Spikes:
# of Members: 20
Rating: Superior
At War With: The Ancients, the 405 Hellhounds, The Silent Ps (deceased).

The fact that a group of 20 can hold their own with two dangerous gangs and one superior gang, with a total number of about 300 people looking to kill them... that's impressive. It's not his stats you have to worry about. It's his tactics and psychology skill.

It's been mentioned a couple of times, but the Tir Ghosts in Corporate Punishment are vicious even if they don't have names. Those guys are badass.

Thats a shame, Cos form the pic in SComp (his foot as big as Dust bin (Trashcan for the americans :D )and the discription of him in there (Awe inspiring dimensions) you'd be thinking pretty much maxed out Body and Strength, Oh well.

Yeah, dirty little gits they are. Read through that section and just thought how are my PC's gonna survive that!

When the baddies are using APDS by default in their compensated SMG's at a high skill level, things are bound to get ugly.

Hmmm - I didn't know there were any (official) stats on him - where did you see them?
Or are you talking about the stats from the SR trading card game?
