Tir Ghosts are certainly pretty badass, although not insurmountable. Apparently shadowrunners are one of their favourite enemies, which is handy cos Ghosts are one of mine!!

Now if only there were stats for Paladins...

It's in Do6w and it's the reason you will never, EVER kill a great dragon with a PC with a sane GM. It allows dragons to really messed up things like force anyone in his LOS to reroll all of their sucesses and such things. It reflects that great dragons dont follow the normal rules of fate and karma, they're better than that.

QUOTE (Ancient History)
Okay, at bare minimum Lowfyr:

Please note those are a bare minimum, as the stats Ancient posted are for a typical Western Great Dragon. Not only is Lofwyr - like most greats - a high-level initiate (which BTW means that Magic stat is off by at least 10 if you keep in mind that IEs like Harlequin are "double digit" initiates and its safe to assume Lofwyr was already a great when Harley was born) with potential access to all the metamagics and then some, but he's at least as physically powerful enough to challenge Ghostwalker/Icewing (as suggested in SotF) which places him physically a few grades above "typical" greats. For reference, Lofwyr is the only known great to have fought and killed another great (Nachtmeister) in the Sixth World (and beat the drek out of two others Kaltenstein and Alamaise). Add in possible stats modifiers from dragon-level magical defenses and augumentations, anchored and sustained spells, unique powers and the Jewel of Memory and you're better off not even considering stats.

Great dragons are forces of nature. The best way to deal with forces of nature like them are to be to small to be noticed or hve nukes. I bet a nuke would really cramp Lowyr's style.

Just remember this... Everytime a Great Dragon is knocked out(physical or stun Deadly), the dragon WILL lose a point of Magic. Since their Essense is 12, and assuming that their Magic matches that, any 2D6 roll to check for Magic loss will cause it to lose that Magic point. Heck, any dragon that gets knocked out will lose that Magic point.

Uh, no, actually, they won't automatically lose magic for that. They have another special rule about that.

Heh, unless you can quote something... or the writers come up with another rule... they lose that point.

QUOTE (p.179 @ Dragons of the Sixth World)
Dragons also check for magic loss like other characters (p.160, SR3) except that dragons roll 3D6 rather than 2D6 when making a magic loss check.

If I were Lofwyr, I'd keep a few hundred Karma in my back pocket just to be able to insta-learn a new skill at a decent 2-digit rating if required. Then if some motherfucker managed to hit me with a barrage of SAMs and got me to Deadly +20 Over-Damage before 2 of my Quickened Force 20 Treats went off and healed me and I killed them all, I could just retreat to one of my impregnable underground fortresses for a few days and Initiate a few times again.

OK, but with being double digit initiates, pretty much makes that point moot doesn't it?

3D6 max = 18

base magic + double digit initiation = 12 + 10 = 22

As mentioned Those stats are the bare minimum, And considering he's the ultimate chess player/ Puppet master, i'd be putting his Int at, at least the 15+ mark, more so considering Hestaby is Int 13, and allthough he is lost the rite (more likely due to his borther playing to stop Lofwyr win then to make himself win) he is smarter then her.

IMHO
