Anyone know the Damage Code for Human Bite?
I know it's Reach -1. Is it STR(M) Stun? Physical? Where do I find this in the books? I need it for a Char Sheet for the Street Shaman from the book. |

I think the Canon answer would be Str (M) Stun, since it's an Unarmed attack.
I personally would apply a bite a damage code of (Str - 2) L. But that is a house rule. |

Yeah, by canon it's definitely (STR)M Stun.
A Cyberfang bite is (STR + 1)L Physical with -1 Reach. If you want to house rule bites, I'd go with (STR-1)L Stun with -1 Reach. Restricting yourself to biting an opponent in combat is a great way to get your ass handed to you. |

This just makes me want to make an "ankle-biter adept"-- dwarf, of course, with high strength, IA: Unarmed (sadly can't IA the specialization, biting), and dikoted cyberfangs. That should up the damage code and DL nicely....

Does not Improved Ability also up any specialisation by the same level? And Bite attack is a legitimate specialisation of unarmed- the Rat shaman archetype in the BBB has it.
Your dwarf would probably also need the digestive expansion bioware, maybe venom sacs for his fangs loaded with digestive enzymes too... -JH. |

I think the ankle-biter would be big on biting, less so on eating. Nephritic screen might not be a bad idea, though....

It does, but the maximum level of IA is based on skill rather than specialization. ~J |

Ie you're still limited to, I think, 14 dice at chargen no matter what you do.
Unarmed-6 + IA:Unarmed-6 + ReflexRec:Unarmed + Artwink = 14 Unarmed/Bite-5/7 + IA:Unarmed-5 + ReflexRec:Bite + Artwink = 14 Unless you get weapon focus cyberfangs. |

Can you get both a base skill reflex recorder and a specialization of that skill reflex recorder?
