I played hard core for a few years when second edition was new. I just got back into in a few months ago with third edition.
I remember taking an edge call "State of the Art" it was like 6 points and let you start with things that had a higher availability and I think cultured bio or beta cyber. Any one remember this or know what book it was in? Its driving me crazy. |

It's in Shadowrun Companion for second edition. You could get it for 2, 4 or 6 points. The 6 point version gave you everything (but you still had to pay for it) and the other two would be out of date by now (I think the 2 pointer gave you alpha grade :D).
