Thats ok, im just trying to get my head around this new format!!! The old format was like a comfy old pair of slippers....just have to learn to wear this one in now!!
ok, problem is I cant remember what just happened!!! people will each have to put a post up as to what they have just done, and what they are about to do...and I will work around that....so Drain Brain, let me know what Flip is up to!! |

Just a reminder, tomorrow I'm leaving for vacation, and Internat access will probably not be an option until Thursday. Feel free to NPC Ace for this time period if necessary. I did make a post in the Old Forums, haggling for two vehichles.

Thats no problem.... In that case as of tomorrow (english time) I will take control of your charecter and do the deal!
I am getting the feeling that Legion has dropped out... if this is the case do you guys feel that we should get some more charecters in? ask for say two street sams or something? |

Just sorted out Codec's smash and grab.... you started out pretty well, but the IC got the initive, your lucky you have a high armor rating...it saved your skin! and your deck!

I'd also like to note how well I-- and, incidentally, Ace-- thought the negotiations went. Ace would not feel cheated, as he wasn't too keen on the idea of a second vehichle anyway, and cash is a good thing. Seriosuly, he would have settled for just the Roadmaster.
But it doesn't matter much. I'll wait till someone answers the question in Silver's post before posting again. |

Well the reason why I put that was because I was expecting Flip to try and get more money...which is why the money they offered was fairly lowball....but nevermind! Ace has his toy now! and the runners have transport!

yeah but dont forget, you need to do some shopping for the Roadmaster and Codec will need the feedback loop for the run you have comming up! trust me....you will spend it quicker then you earn it!

I don't want this to sound like a cop out, but just to note - Flip is from the kind of background where gangs are lower scale - more kids than serious muscle like in UCAS. That being the case, he wouldn't have thought to ask for more cash - not to mention the fact that the majority of his gang life was based around the favour trade - it's better to keep these guys friendly for the future, and having this over their heads might be useful - "Hey, that first time we helped you out we didn't push for the whole cut you know we were entitled to - you owe us..."
Anyhoo... back to the IC thread... |

I don't even understand what she means. She's insurance? Of what? Of us? Why not just tell us not to take any risks? Why not tell us?
Is she insurance that the job will get done? We're not even on the job, and even then, why not just hire her to do it? I'm just confused about what she meant. |

Yeah, I'm puzzled too - I would think that she's insurance against us betraying Mr Kitao... but that doesn't explain why she was shooting at us and, for that matter, how she got to the school before US, when we didn't know where we were going - surely she should have been tailing us if she were insurance!

she never actually shot at you, if you remember what happened you saw a flash come from the window which she was sat at.....it could easily have been light reflecting off her sniper scope as she sat and watched what was going on. Also, you were sat just down the street from the school for a little while working out who was doing what...bearing in mind that you had met up with a rival gang I don't think it would have been to much of an assumption as to what you would be up to and yes, by insurance... she did mean to make sure the job was done, after all...Mr Kitao has hired some new and unknown runners to do this for him, and he would look very foolish if you double crossed him! after all, reputation is one of the most important things for the japanese to have! |
