As is true with most shadowrunners!!
I have been thinking today, I want to start planning the next mission... I just want to know if all are up for A) continuing and putting up with me as GM. B) continuing but with a new charecter or C) want to carry out a run of their own. |

I'd go for A or B - whatever anyone else is comfortable with... also, if anyone else says C, I'll go with that too...
Maybe I'll say C myself sometime soon - I don't thnk I'm confident enough to run a game on here yet, though... ;) |

A is good for me.
Thought I'd use the long haired Emoticon (if it works) I'm an ex Biker and sport a pony tail even though I'm in my 6th decade, |

I am good for A and/or B. I've played several runs with you as GM and have no complaints. If you need a decker I enjoy playing Codec. if you want another char i can do that too (I have a few to use). Plan your next mission, I'm up for it

The reason why I am curious to know is that (without trying to give too much away) I want to base a mission on one of the charecters in your team (and no...its not BlueBird) and I need to know who wants to change charecters and stuff...
Gunner-if that referance was to me, the answer is simple one... you dont see how long I spend reading the books in front of the computer trying to work out the dice rolls! :D and you would be amazed at how well you think you have planned something, and then the group playing it do unexpected things and you end up making parts up as you go along!! (not that I am saying I have dont that in this mission!!) |

I'm sure as long as you let whoever it is know, things will be fine. The runs I've done so far with you have been much more different than with my group in real life. Those are always more like "go here, fight them, break that..." Like I said, I'll play Codec if he is needed. I like him. If there is a need for another type of character, i can do that as well. The only type of char that doesn't quite interest me right now are magic users. I've never been into the whole Fantasy (D'n'D) aspect. (I'm not a real Lord of the Rings fan)
I appreciate you wanting things to be accurate when rolling the dice from a GM point of view, but I don't think you should spend hours looking up target numbers and such. Feel free to fudge a few rolls. That's the power of the GM! :vegm:
Keeps you on your toes. Besides, look at the advantage of that happening online opposed to at the table with the group. Online you can not post for a few days while you are trying to plan what to do to get the group back on track with your plan. At the table, you have to make it up on the fly. Overall, once again. I have no complaints. You've been patient with me and my questions. Yeah we lost a few players earlier on, but we're still a functioning team so... Game ON! |

Flip's gonna take a look around the outside of the building, as we said, checking to see how well-concealed the cameras are. He'll also check to see what is close by, and have a general look around to assess the potential threats and/or escape routes. Incidentally, I just got a copy of the 2nd Ed. London Sourcebook from a guy on eBay - in the Brit-speak glossary in the back, it lists my name!
Please note that I didn't know this when I created the character, despite the potential connotations given his ganger background. It is, in fact, a corruption of his middle name, Philip. All things being equal, though, and in light of Silverspur's question about continuing our characters - yes, I'd like to keep Flip, but he so needs a street name. Thing is, like all good nick-names, it can't be something that you give yourself. You have to be named... so if anything occurs to you guys, post it on here! I have plans for <Flip> so I'd like to keep him on if possible... ;) |

I'd like to note that Ace did NOT leave the van on the street, it is parked in the garage.
EDIT: It's not a problem for any of the other players to dictate the minor actions of my character from time to time, so I'm not angry. I just felt it was important to get this across. :D |

I havent checked the IC thread yet... but your right, its just as well you dont leave it on the street!! [vegm]
It would be interesting to read that source book -I have always wondered how you would do shadowrun in London... its something I would be able to relate to more as well, baring in mind I spend so much time there!! |

Oops, our bad Gunner. When Flip and Seeoh were writing the piece we had said - to each other - that Ace would natuarally have the van parked up out of sight. We just didn't make our assumption clear when we sent in the finished article. Sorry.

I've been looking for a copy for ages, then someone said "try eBay." I got that and Tir Tairngire both for, like, £15.
It's a good read, though I haven't gone cover-to-cover yet... interesting stuff, even though it's 2nd Ed. Once I get the courage to run a game myself on here, I'll set it in the UK - and you're first on my list! |

Well I would love to play a game set in england!! it would certainly be different!
Where do you normally get your roleplay books from? (both DB and Rakashasa) I have had to buy mine from a roleplay store in canterbury which was really expensive...also tried amazon but they took ages to deliver. I only have the main book and rigger2 |

Dude! If, as you say, you spend any time in London, you have to go to Orcs' Nest along the road opposite the Palace Theatre (where Les Miserables is playing). I get all my stuff there - wicked selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff - cool shop. Not to mention the wacky decor!
Go there... keep the edge... |

I havent heard of that place...but I do know the area, probably one of the many little backstreet shops that you walk past without ever seeing!
I spend a fair bit of time there... my girlfriend lives in Kingstone, so if every I am quiet during the course of a weekend, im normally there! |

I was a security officer. Unfortunately the people I was working for were a bunch of monkeys... so I'm gonna go join a temping agency.
Ho-hum... Anyway... on to the show, neh? Do I see anything important outside? How easy are the cameras to spot? If they're well-concealed I'll head back inside to the others so we can PLAN!!!!!!!!! |

The cameras are very big and very obvious, not too far off of the security cameras we have today...and no, its predictible quiet oustide
Is codec doing anything special in the matrix... or just playing around?? |
