Is there a server down or something? For some odd reason the web site's not popping up.

You might want to give a bit more information and detail than that. I imagine you're not talking about Dumpshock since, yanno, you just posted a message there... so what anonymous "web site" are you talking about? :)

Ah. That would be mine. You are correct, Doc, I should have been more specific.

My site, the Ancient Files, which is hosted by kind people on the Dumpshock Matrix, is not opening properly. I haven't touched the damn thing in forever, so I can only wonder if there's a server down or something.

The HTTPD server on Fastjack, our old server, where a few pages are still hosted, occasionally falls over. I usually notice within a few hours [my personal sites and the Shadowrun Supplemental is on FastJack, as well] and restart it.

Mmm... Falling servers...

Ever think of setting up a bot that occasionally sends a PING through and checks for a return packet, which then sends you a message if the packet doesn't return?

Wouldn't take too much bandwidth or processor power, it'd just make life a little bit more simple.
