On pages 303-304 in SR3/BBB, a Stabilization Unit is listed. The normal one has a Rating of 2, the deluxe a Rating of 6...but it doesn't say what the Rating actually does. All both units do is provide a -2 TN modifier to healing within them, and automatically stabilize anyone within.
What's the deal? Was there errata? |

The rules for medkits are in M&M, and they add dice complementary to Biotech test or act as a Biotech skill when the character has none (I imagine this is the "automatically sabilize").
