The Question?
Do Cerebral Boosters & Encephalon add to your Intellegince for the peurpose of determining the number of points you get for Knowledge Skills. ie; Intelligence 6 + Cerebral Booster - Level 2 + Encephalon - Level 2 = Intelligence 10 for the purposes of determining the number of Knowledge Skill Points available at character creation? Thanks QM |

Encephalon only adds intelligence for the purposes of learning Int-based skills, not for any other purpose.
Cerebral Boosters are cultured bioware, and technically cannot be used in character creation under standard rules. However, if your GM allows it, then your GM will also have to deal with the house rule of how it affects your starting Knowledge skills and languages. My first thought is to say no, it does not. |

It depends on the character's background and history whether I'd allow it or not.
