Lemme see, I'll just note the stuff I have that someone else hasn't mentioned:
Nitrile gloves, leather work gloves, roll of parachute cord, face paint. Thanks for the useful ideas guys. |

Hair dye (to go along with the face-paint idea). Never know when you need to look like someone else.

You mean you haven't gotten artificial, color-changing hair yet? :)
But good point from Dog. Add a pair of surgical rubber gloves to my list. Just in case the GM houserules that a FFFBS doesn't cover the fingertips. |

You don't carry dye around in a field bag. Too much work, too much time. If you're in a position to need and use it, you can get it from a drug store. Carry a wig, if anything.
And face paint isn't for changing your skin color. It's for painting your face black for night ops. |

Yes, for camouflage and for confusing facial recognition programs (edit: and for looking scary!). It may be redundant, but I just remembered that my watch-cap rolls down to a bellaclava, too.

Just going through my IRL work bag:
Pen, pencil, marker (the marker might be useful to a runner), business cards (for the face, maybe), tons of relevant reference material (on chip, I guess) EXTRA CUFF KEY!, first aid kit, knife, flashlight, headlamp, nitrile gloves, safety glasses, extra batteries, multi-tool, extra carabiners, extra paracord. I used to just keep it in a fishing vest, but paperwork builds up. Hey, anybody's character wear a protective cup for close calls? |

Anything else I use is mission specific. |

Emergency kits aren't that useful.
At least, not in the games I play in -- you don't have them, because the only time you need them is when you've woken up at the edge of town with nothing but your pants. No boots, no shirt, no guns, no ride, no cred.. just those pants.. |

Jesus H. Christ.
Doesn't anybody just go to the meet and wing it anymore? Seriously, it must just be the style of our group, but the most I ever carry is a cellphone and maybe a toolkit (of appropriate type) that i think I might need for the job. |

Frosty, that's what my group does, but the reason is because of what I listed above ;) It only happened twice, but once was at 200+ Karma. Basically, any time we have a total party knockout. Once was first run, once was end of that storyline.. end of the storyline we didn't even get to keep the pants..
That being said, there are spare guns in a secret compartment in the bike, and the bike will go nowhere when it gets shut off.. hefty hefty security on it. |

Currently, nothing. That's right, nothing. When you play a fox shapeshifter, one has to consider what kind of gear a fox with no bag, or pockets, for that matter, can carry. I let the other team members carry what little I own.
I suppose I could design a little fox backpack to put some expendable spell foci in, but I don't have Backpack B/R. Plus, it's hard to intimidate people when you look like a fox version of the koala on the cover of T:AL. |

Capt. Dave--Best thing I've ever seen, utility mage in a backpack with little mesh screens. Levitate, Armor, Heal and Invisibility are all great things to cast on your chauffeur, I mean teammate...
Character also happened to be a Fox Shifter... |

They've been making that sequel for, what, 6 years now?
Admittedly, Duffy finally confirmed a written script and mostly confirmed cast and budget, but, uh, I'll believe All Saints Day when I see it. |

Wether it's a Shadowrun Character, or a DnD character I always add to the gear list "Lots 'o' Fuckin Rope", just to momentarily throw those GM's who do not look closely at character sheets during initial inspection and/or don't care how many weapons characters lug around but suddenly want to know "... how much rope do you have dude?" After that first double take I'll specify " about 300 feet "
