It's been a while since I've worked with constructing armor. So. Bear with me.
I'm looking specifically at Thermal dampening. Cost is noted as '+(1500xRating)' with 'SI: +2'. Now. Is this to imply that the total cost of the armor is calculated as follows: Armor base cost x (SI+2) + (1500x Rating) Or. (Armor base cost + (1500xRating)) x (SI:+2) God it's late here. My head is spinning with exhaustion. Too much math on an Easter sunrise. |

the way i would rule, it as follows Lets say you have some armor, that bought from a store/fixer, is 1000 nuyen, with an SI of 1 (so no multipler) now you want to had rating 3 thermal dampening, the new armor would cost [1000+ 4500 (1500*3)]*3 (previous si 1+2), or 5500*3, being 16,500 :nuyen: |

Wich means you'd rule it as the second example.
This is also how I'd rule it. |

Ditto. As best I can tell, SI is done off of total cost.
