However that pretty much assumes that the opposition has the knowledge and time to coordinate an effective response.

Some have speculated that the pervasiveness of wireless data transfer and "Augmented Reality" may mean that you'll end up with tighter-knit squad level comminication and co-ordination, across the board, even down to the lower level security guards. I doubt that it'd be like giving everyone BattleTac for free, but we really don't know the details yet, so it'll be something to watch for.

Of course, we'll probably see the runner team's "Mobile Digital Wizard" getting a chance to screw up the opposition's communications protocols, which will be naturally easier to do for a rent-a-cop than it would for a swat team, so the end result might still be the shadowrunners absolutely tearing through their oposition.

If wireless squad communications acchieves built in battletac type for corp responses I can see that ECM would rapidly become the mandatory equipment in response which of course requires ECCM to overcome which pretty much boils down to which group can field the highest rated comm gear pretty much would own the field. Granted that's largely the case in the real world but alot of people might be disatisfied with electronic warfare becoming so critical in SR gameplay (and let's be serious on corporate turf fixed mount systems would likely outclass anything manportable pretty much giving this battle to the corps).

Further at a certain point you can almost predict EMP based devices to neutralize the tech advantage which raises all sorts of cyberware EMP interaction issues.
