Just curious:

Would anyone know how much magic loss due to Bioware or Cyberware can be reduced/eliminated through the use of geasa?

Or is that something subject to GM interpretation?

It might be covered in the Sourcebooks, but I'm not certain.

Thanks.

Magician's Way adepts follow the rules for adepts, which states on page 33 of MitS:
QUOTE
If an adept suffers Magic loss, the gamemaster can choose to apply a geas to 1 point worth of the adept’s powers. This offsets the loss of the Magic Point and allows the adept to continue to use those powers, so long as the geas is fulfilled.

Thus, it's up to the GM's discretion.

hahnsoo:

Thanks for the clarification.

I *thought* I remembered that from reading MITS awhile back, but I wasn't certain.

Remember though: Magic loss for Magician's Way Adepts has to be taken out of their Magical Power first, so it'll be that they're geasing.
