Hoi Chummers, since it's so hard to coordinate scheduals and get to meetings. I thought it would be nice to set up a Shadowrun Meet Up Open House at the Cloud City 2005 Game Convention.
Once the Game Schedual's have been posted we can Post a Time and Place. Anybody interested? Marpole Curling Club May 27-29, 2005 The Vancouver Gaming Guild, in cooperation with Drexoll Games (www.drexollgames.com) is proud to present the Cloud City 2005 Game Convention at Marpole Curling Club (8730 Heather Street, Vancouver, BC), May 27-29, 2005. Pre-Registration tickets will be available after April 1st, 2005 at many fine, local game stores and online (email for more information). Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. This Science Fiction and Fantasy themed convention will include, for the first time, the wildly successful Drexoll Games 24 hour Game-A-Thon. This portion of the game con starts at 6pm Friday, May 27th, runs non-stop for the first 24 hours of the convention and is free for any who wants to attend. More details will be forth coming (free food, prizes and t-shirts for those that make fthe full 24 hours straight), so start catching up on your sleep now to prepare for the board gaming madness! Cloud City 2005 will feature RGPA events, a Star Wars interactive, various Role-Playing and Table top games along with a Hero Clix tournament (presented by Elfsar Collection Ltd 1007 Hamilton Street Vancouver). Come out and play Living Force, Star Wars Role Playing Games©, Spaceship Zero, a/state and many more Science Fiction and Fantasy themed games. All Ages Welcome. Remember, the best way to make sure your favourite game appears at Cloud City 2005 or any VGG event is to organize it. So start planning now!
