Has anyone watched this show on Court TV and pictured the entire exercise as a Shadowrun waiting to happen?

Or as an amusing Shadowrun 101?

I saw it. I actually thought it was pretty unrealistic. They had way too much time and made way too much noise.

Don't they just get normal people to pull of the jobs? Thats what I gathered from the commercial, at least...

It would be a lot better if the real game show was to actually infiltrate a building that no one knew a game show was being taped in. That, I would watch. Especially if the building's security used lethal force in dealing with intruders.

I have yet to actually watch an episode, but I did skim the website.

Apparently each has a background or career field that offers special skills more or less relevant skills to the game.

A number of the "challenges" are set up with the singular intent to excite without serious harm - the cage of lions, for example.
