Good luck, SDX. I'll give it a shot when you're finished.

The rigging is a bit tricky - both that and the decking are being worked on, although the rigging will be the easiest of the two. You'll only be able to actually "control" one as the player... obviously you aren't going to be able to run it like a RTS game or something, but you will be able to switch between the drones and vehicles. As far as magic goes, all of that will be possible. All you have to do to get the guard to carry out the cash for you is to script the possiblity in there... that means more time spent crafting each character and fleshing them out... but I'd rather it be that way anyways. I'm going for the level where you can't tell if a DM is controlling the character or not. If I can get about 80-90% of the NPCs there... The only problem is astral - I haven't decided how to tackle that, because I'm already using a system that hides players/npcs from thermal, and vision... giving reason for having thermal imaging... and that would be the only way to get astral so that noone but the magic using player could see it. I might remove that though, to add better functionality for magic... or I might just clone the effects they used and apply them for astral.

And you won't have to pay for a thing. Right now the server (which is in testing stages) will hold 8 people. I'm paying about 30/month for it. I don't have any more than that to shell out... so, two or three of those slots are going to be dedicated to the development team... which leaves 5 public slots. Thats not a whole lot for an online game... so in order to expand a little we'll need donations, but I'm also happy with leaving it how it is, so thats all up to the people that want to play... if you know someone that wants to chip in like 5/mo that'll add a couple more slots, and I'd be more than happy to add a dedicated one for the donor.
