Hello all, long time no post!

I have had another random thought that I am sure there is an answer for somewhere in Dumpshock world!

Is there a gadget or procedure that you can use to completely alter someones character and behavior and even appearance that is in the form of a brain implant? is it possible to say put a chip in someones head so that they are under your control for complex tasks but still able to function in the simple every day stuff. That this chip not only changes personality and actions but the look of that person also?

If there is no single procedure what would my options be, this of couse would not be a voluntary action for the subject in question!

would be interested to see what you all come up with as i have a little plan for a run and the input would be greatly received!

thanks

Torz xx :grinbig:

I believe a personafix can achieve the total domination effect you (I believe) asked for.

As for appearance, you'd have to have face surgery or a high-force quickened Mask spell to do that.

Well, there's brainwashing and psychotropic conditioning and memory creation and erasure. So yeah, I'd say it's possible.

Wasn't there a thread a while back about people taking the Mysterious Cyberware flaw, and having the GM give them Skillwires (6) and the recieving end of a Snake-eyes system? So then others could periodically use them as a drone?

Go talk to one of the great dragons. Those guys can alter, wipe and/or completely replace your entire mind according to the Dragons sourcebook.

Reminds me, not SR, but back in D&D 2.0 days there was a TSR-published spell that worshippers of a midwife goddess could cast. "Ease Labor". Sounds reasonable, right?

It was reversible. "Induce Labor". And male targets of the reversed spell got no saving throw.

It was exactly as horrid and agonizing as you might imagine.

:D

Considering that men don't have that kind of plumbing nor the appropriate smooth muscle down there, I can't imagine that would have much of an effect.

Like that ever stopped anyone.

So, what was it, the Catheter From Hell?

Yeah, the target should have to actually be pregnant to induce labor. And no one except Mel Gibson and Arnold Schwarzeneger can do that.
