Just started learning Fireborn for a campaign that starts this monday. Anyway, reading through the rules it seems like that rule set could be very close to the rule set that'll come out for SR4. Obviously, SR4 won't use the Aspect system and skills shifting dice from one aspect to another. However, from what has been said about SR4 the two sound fairly similar (which would indicate that SR4 might turn out to be a REALLY good game).

Just throwing this out for comments. Haven't finished reading all the rules yet or played it--just first impressions.

.... so ... can you comment on Ceops' question? Or would that break your NDA?

I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything since the demos have gone on. I suppose there are a few basic mechanical similarities, but the meat of the Fireborn system is not like SR4, in my opinion. I wouldn't say that playing SR4 felt like playing Fireborn, certainly.
