The PDF is finally out and the dead tree edition will follow soon, so can we get a sub-forum now?
Thanks! |

We are no longer creating sub-forums for new releases, with the exception of the SR4 forum which will stick around after the book's release.

Why?
It was always nice to find stuff a few month later... |

SQL storage is a bit of a harsh reality. There's a reason that I say I hate SQL.

Good thing we have a search function. ;-) The subforums were a nice idea in the short term, but in the long term they're unwieldy, throwing more and more subforums into the "Archived" forum just isn't ideal, and just adds to front page clutter. |

Additionally, since none of the book sub-forums ever had more than 100 threads, they just don't seem to add very much value. I think it makes more sense to consolidate them to the Shadowrun forum and make use of the search function to find particular topics of interest.

Ok, sounds reasonable.
